Return to School
All children will be coming back to school on 8th March 2020.
Following on from the announcement from the Prime Minister, all school children will be returning to the classroom on Monday 8th March. A letter explaining this is attached below.
Now is the time to get your child back into a routine and ready to return. Consider bedtimes and the time that your child gets up each morning. Do these need to be adjusted gradually over the next week to ensure that your child is able to get up feeling refreshed on Monday morning? Talk to your child about returning to school. If they have worries or concerns, then talk these through. You can contact us if you would like a member of school staff to talk these through with you and your child.
Just One Norfolk have some really useful guidance and videos which will help you structure your conversations with your child about the return to school.
Just One Norfolk - Return to School Guidance
Remember, we are probably all feeling a little anxious and out of sorts at the moment after our enforced time at home and children are no different. If they are upset and worried about the return, this is perfectly normal. However children are amazingly resilient and adaptable and we will all be here to make them feel quickly at home.
